To help spread His words of peace, truth, and love.
Although they may not have wings
They're so happy, its like they're walking on springs
Special young men and young women
Chosen with care
Spreading His gospel
Traveling in pair
With the Book in hand
The Spirit at heart
To find investigators
They are ready to start
Getting up early
In bed before 10
They tirelessly work each day
Then the next begin again
They bless the lives of everyone they meet
Every John, Jane, and Mary
Even the random person down the street
The blessings extend to their families
Who anxiously await
Every letter and phone call
Til their sons and daughters come back to their gate
They travel around the world
Bringing hope and knowledge to many
To disbelievers and those who question
They have scriptures at the ready
They study alot of the gospel so it's ready to spread
Many copies of the Book of Mormon waiting to be read
They change lives
Showing a path of truth and light
How to follow the gospel and our Heavenly Father
How to do our best to choose the right
They don't always know how special they are
I'm hoping with this
